This major cultivates applied talents with technical literacy of clinical medical engineering and medical device technology foundation. Serving medical applications, the graduates of the major can be engaged in jobs of clinical application, maintenance, quality control of medical equipment, clinical engineering technology application of the combination of medicine, and engineering in related fields of biomedical engineering. Students possess theoretical knowledge of medicine, electronics, information, and electromechanical technology, and receive training in modern medicine and typical medical device applications. They can work as clinical engineers to solve clinical engineering problems, realize medical safety management, and promote the treatment and care of patients. They can also engage in technical application and auxiliary design in biomedical engineering related fields such as various medical, scientific research, and production enterprises at all levels.
