The College of Clinical Medicine takes "cultivating clinical medical talents with the characteristics of general practitioners" as its college positioning, and pays attention to the cultivation of health responsibility, medical professionalism, and clinical practice ability. The clinical medicine major currently has two levels of five-year undergraduate programs, and three-year diploma programs in clinical medicine (general practice, pre-hospital first aid). It has 1,162 current students and 2,092 graduates, jointly cultivated 44 postgraduates, and 3 doctoral students. More than 90% of graduates enter tertiary hospitals for standardized training of resident physicians.
Professional teaching equipped with advanced experimental and practical teaching and training conditions, including a basic medical interactive learning and training center, an animal surgery training room, a clinical skills training center, and a variety of advanced training equipment (such as high-end simulators). The college continues to strengthen cooperation with world-renowned medical universities, and has carried out close cooperation with the Université de Liège in Belgium, University College London, the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom, and the University of Strasbourg in France, to form the brand cooperation projects such as "China-Belgium Medical Science Master's Program," "British General Practice Teacher Training Project,” " Overseas Training Project of General Practitioner Comprehensive Ability Improvement.”
